Kushilaa PLC is building a water packaging plant in Tatek Industrial Zone, Oromia Regional State of Burayu, according to Addis Fortune.

Kushilaa has leased the land in April 2015 and now it is drilling it for water.

Tinsae Zeleke, Manager of the company, said the construction of the main plant is at its earliest stage of excavation on 1,600 square meters of land.

The company targets markets in the Rift Valley and towns in eastern Ethiopia with its half liter, one liter, 1.5 liters and two liters bottled water.

Kushilaa PLC will start operation by the end of 2015. The company is now in the process of registering its name and has applied for a patent for the shape of the bottle.
