Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) laid the foundation stone on June 27, 2015, for its headquarters to be constructed on 147,000 square meters of land with USD 166.5 million dollars.

The headquarters is 198 meters high with 47–storey.

CBE Board Chairperson, Bereket Simon and Member of the Board, Abay Tsehaye were presented at the ceremony.

The headquarters’ construction is to be undertaken by Chinese Company and is expected to be completed in the coming four years, it was indicated.

CBE has 950 branch offices across Ethiopia.
