Catering and Tourism Training Institute with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that Tourism and Hospitality week is going to be celebrated from June 01-05, 2015 for the third time with the theme, “Tourism is our language, Hospitality our culture.”

“The event was organized with the objective of creating an opportunity for the trainees to apply the theoretical knowledge they gain at classrooms and make practical demonstrations,” Organizing Committee President Abiy Aklilu said.

Moreover, the event aims for creating strong bond between the Institute and tour operators, event organizers, hotels, government and non-governmental organizations, Abiy added.

Cultural parade, cultural dance competition, St. George VS Dedebit Football Club tourism cup, research conference and tree planting are among the activities planned for the event, he said.
