The road which was built to connect Dolobay and Dolado in Somali Region with Birr 405 million had started its operation, according to Ethiopian Road Authority (ERA).

ERA disclosed that new technology had been used to divert Genale River when a bridge over it is constructed, which is 136 meters long as part of this road.

The bridge will shorten the length of the previous road by 12 to 14 kilometers, according to The Ethiopian Herald.

This locality has now standard gravel road.

Pan African Consultancy and Transnational Engineers carried out the consultation and supervision works and Macro General Consulting constructed the road. All the participant companies are indigenous.

The cost was fully covered by Ethiopian government.
