Ethiopia’s Federal Public Procurement and Property Disposal Service (PPPDS) disclosed it generated about 120 million Birr from the sale of disposable vehicles.

PPPDS’ Director General Yigezu General noted between the years 2011 – 2015 PPPDS has disposed 711 vehicles and 148,887 properties in open auction.

He also explained in the current fiscal year PPPDS concluded a framework agreement worth 1.3 billion Birr. It has also increased using locally produced paper and toner which in turn has saved a lot of hard currency, he furthered.
