Ethiopian Received 11th Dreamliner

Ethiopian AirlinesEthiopia’s flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, took delivery of its 11th Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

During the handing over of the aircraft, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam, praised the aircraft as one of the latest technologies with an an in-flight entertainment system with film service as well as a flatbed seat that enables passengers to sleep during their journey.

The airline has been using the airplane for the past two years and it has been the most popular aircraft among the airline’s customers, the CEO furthered.

Tewolde noted the additional 787 Dreamliner aircrafts it is purchasing will improve Ethiopian’s transportation service and also support its effort to become the most popular fleet in the aviation industry.

In addition to this he spoke about the expansion works the airline is undertaking as part of its Vision 2025. The projects are aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and significant improvement between Ethiopian Airlines customers.

As part of the expansion project, the first phase of the airline’s parking space has been upgraded to accommodate airplanes.

Currently Bole International Airport provides world class passenger and cargo services for more than million international and domestic passengers.
