Ministry of Trade (MoT) made an adjustment to retail prices of benzene sold in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, and its surrounding areas.

The adjustment, according to the Minister, is made following temporary interruption of ethanol production.

The adjusted price is going to be 20.99 Birr for a liter of benzene in Addis Ababa, Burayu and Alemgena from Sunday, October 26, 2014 to Sunday, November 9, 2014.

The Ministry furthered other adjustments are bound to be made based on global petroleum prices and supply of ethanol.
