Ethiopia: Seminar for African Women Entrepreneurs to Be Held

From Wednesday August, 27, 2014 to Friday August, 29, 2014 Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, is going to host a seminar which intends to open economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs in Africa.

The series of seminars are said to bring together women entrepreneurs and business leaders for the purpose of accessing trade and investment opportunities on the continent. The missions are organized targeting businesses involved in investment, trade and infrastructure development projects on the continent.

The seminar is organized by the Leading Women of Africa (LWA) along with the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PACCI).

The first day of the seminar is reserved for a series of plenary sessions, followed by a workshop and a Business to Business session. Business visits will be held during the next two days.

Targeted sectors are construction, agriculture, import-export, water and sanitation, energy, tourism and hospitality, health and wellness, manufacturing and trade.

The seminar is expected to be attended by 70 African business women along with Government officials and ambassadors.
