The Bid floated for organizing the 2015 Easter Trade Fair and Bazaar only managed to secure two bidders, which is one less bidder than the legal requirement.

This is the second time the bid is floated to find an organizer. The first attempt only attracted one bidder, Century Promotion Services.According to Fortune, it is Century that has made the higher of the two offers made.

Both bidders have attached a 100,000 Birr Certified Payment Order (CPO), renewed promotion business license and tax registration documents.

The winner of this bid is going to be announced in 15 days by the Addis Ababa Exhibition Centre & Market Development Enterprise (ECMDE). 

Century Promotion Services was established in 1991 and it has managed thus far to organize 21 exhibitions in connection to Ethiopian holidays at the Exhibition center. In addition to this, the company has also organized different trade fairs as well as fundraising events.

The exhibition center was established in 1983. Now it is under the management of the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce & Sectoral Association (AACCSA) after the Chamber concluded a contract with Addis Ababa City Administration Trade & Investment Bureau in November 2005.
