A group of Chinese investors are in Ethiopia for a six day business visit, The Ethiopian Herald reported. The investors are from different economic sectors.

Members of the delegation had a meeting with Dawano Kedir, Foreign Affairs State Minister, on Tuesday, April 30, 2014. The delegates have shown their interest to engage in different economic sectors such as urban development, manufacturing and agriculture.

Chonqing Yushidi Property Development Co. Ltd Group Leader and Chairman said what attracted his company to Ethiopia is the nation’s favorable investment environment and the prevalence of peace.

He also added another thing that has attracted the investors to Ethiopia is its citizens courage to change. Explaining this he said, “Ethiopians have a great desire to see prosperous Ethiopia. In this regard the delegation is happy to work with these people”.

Dawano on his part said, the investors have strong economic muscle and experience in various sectors. He then added Ethiopia has become one of investment destination for investors from different parts of the world.
