Nikotika Construction and Trading PLC is a construction established by the commercial code of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) in the year 2008 E.C.

The company was established to provide various construction services and so contribute specifically to the development of the construction industry and generally to the economic growth of the country.

The firm is currently registered as a General WWGC Level-1, WWDC Level 1, and G. CLevel-5 and meets all the criteria set by government laws.

Since its inception, the company has set, its primary target scaling the height in the construction sector and attaining a front position while at the same time spreading its area of undertakings into various business activities.

Sustained hard work and a conducive atmosphere have enabled the company to build a reliable operational capacity and prove itself a dynamic force, particularly in the construction sector.

Nikotika Construction and Trading plc running its business in construction machinery and equipment rental. Heavy machines like dozers, excavators, loaders... and equipment mixers, Generators, welding machines, and HDPE butt-welding machines, are some of the business rentals.

Current activities/Projects under progress
Building Construction
Nikotika Construction and Trading plc entered into a contract agreement with Korcoch Marble Mining plc on Sept 1, 2023, for the construction of a G+3 guest house, residential buildings, and hotel the total contract amount is 115,105,400 etb. Including 15% VAT. At this time the project is under construction, and progress has reached 50 %.

Road and bridges
Our company is currently under the construction work of Gravel road and medium span bridges in Benishangule Gumuz regional state metekel zone Debati-Parzeit, for which the contract agreement is made with Korokoch Marble Mining plc.
The major activities of Gravel road construction are: -

Water construction works
The Nikotika Construction and Trading PLC entered a contract agreement with Benishangule Gumuz Regional State Water Resource and Energy Development Bureau on Jun 17, 2021, for the construction of the Dobi small town water supply system, for the total contract amount of 52,352,023.79 including a 15% VAT. company is currently in progress for the construction of a small-town water supply system and electromechanical works. At this time the project is under construction and reaches at 60 % progress.
