Noor Landscaping is a private company founded in 1999 to provide horticulture services. We specialize in landscape design and installation, as well as civil engineering services.

NOOR Agri-Tech is a sister company of KARA Agro-Industry Farm PLC - the first integrated poultry farm in Ethiopia, Oromia region, Sebeta area. It was established in 1977 by Debebe Getahun (Veterinary Doctor). Its main focus has been on poultry farm with vertical integration of dairy farm and horticultural works.

In 1999 from our KARA Farm we launched NOOR Agri-Tech to give horticultural service. This comes with a wealth of experience that extends over a period of 19 years in the industry. Being among the pioneers of landscaping in Ethiopia, we have played a role in landscape transformations across the nation. All our team members have a high level of expertise in garden construction and care. We love greenery and nature.

All staff in charge of the controlling section are all with a minimum of 3 years of experience or above in the fields of gardening, marketing, and finishing work.

Working Process

1. CONSULTATION

We will meet with you at your garden site to discuss what you want from your garden. We will assess the site, and discuss with you how and by whom your garden will be used in order to get a clear picture of your needs. We will show you examples of our work and drawings to give you a better understanding of the scope of our work and the design process. We can also provide references and locations of some of our completed work sites you can visit and get a feel for our work.

2. LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROPOSAL

After the consultation visit, we will provide you a firm landscape design proposal for the design requirements of your garden and the services you would like us to provide. If you accept the design proposal we will move forward with the landscape design.

3. LANDSCAPE DESIGN WORK

We will design your garden with a detailed and accurate scaled drawing that shows the location of all proposed site elements and materials plus existing features that are to remain. We will deliver to you a final to-scale landscape design plan and planting plan along with images to communicate the look and feel of the plantings and hardscape.

4. COMPLETION & MAINTENANCE

We use a mulching mower and leave the clippings on the grass – that way there’s no need to dispose of them, and they’ll feed the lawn too. Even better is to replace out-of-the-way areas of lawn, of any size, with beautiful wildflower meadows that only need strimming occasionally. Opt for a native wildflower mix, suited to your local conditions. Keep the shape of borders and beds straight or gently curved. Raised beds clearly delineate.
