Mikada Engineering and Trading PLC was established in December 2010 in line with the Ethiopian business law and licensed as a general construction firm under the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction to execute the construction of roads, bridges, buildings, and similar works.

Since then, we have signed and entered into several contracts for the construction of roads, buildings, and related works and have successfully completed most of the contracts to the satisfaction of our clients, while some are still ongoing.

As to the capability of our construction equipment, we own several heavy-duty earthmoving equipment, and equipment for hauling and pavement works proper for this grade of construction license. Besides, we have built a huge financial capacity since establishment and have continued to build on it. This provides us with a dependable cash flow support for the contracts we enter and execute.

Fly Ash Supply

MIKADA TRADING has been supplying fly ash products for many companies for mega projects in Africa. Some of the companies we have supplied fly ash with are:

1. China Gezhouba Group Corporation, for Fan Project and GD-3 Project in Ethiopia,
2. Sinohydro Corporation Limited, for Karuma Hydroelectric Power Project in Uganda - A project that will be the biggest electric power supplier in Uganda when completed,
3. China International Water and Electric Corporation (CWE) in Conakry, Guinea,
4. Eastern Cement and Steel Manufacturing Company in Modjo, Ethiopia, as well as many others.
