C & E Brothers Steel Factory PLC is one of the leading suppliers of TMT reinforcement bars of Grade 40, 60 and 75 in Ethiopia. The factory produces ribbed bars in different diameters i.e 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 20mm, 24mm and 32mm. The factory also produces Silica Ramming Mass or Quartz to steel factories and paint factories.

C & E Brother’s Steel Factory PLC was established according to the commercial code of Ethiopia1960 and registered with the Ethiopia Investment Agency Licensing and Registration Department on August 14, 2008.
It is a joint venture factory of Ethiopian investors with a total establishment capital of more than 1 Billion Ethiopian birr.

C and E Brothers Steel Factory PLC is located in the southern part of the capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, in a town called Bishoftu which is 45 km from Addis Ababa.

The factory originally rested on a total area of 30,000m², which later expanded to 90,000m². The factory's total annual production capacity is more than 500,000 metric tonnes.

Production Capacity

It produces different sizes of reinforcement bars used mainly for the construction industry with different grades. Currently, the factory produces two types of products. Reinforcement bars with an attainable capacity of 54,000 tons per annum and Silica Ramming Mass with a capacity of 18,000 tons per annum.
