Dakasos Industrial PLC is a company established in 1998 at small level by indigenous entrepreneur with a vision to be engaged in the mining sector of the country's economy. Dakasos was established at a capital of Birr 15,000.00 and three workers including the owner.

Dakasos' primary objective is therefore to play a role in the growth of the sector through the exploration and development of one of the country's abundant and most versatile mineral, lime stone. In line with this objective, Dakasos had been engaged in the production of lime and related products at small scale with a locally modified machines since its establishment.
