Description of Requirements It is anticipated that the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will shortly be issuing an "Request for Proposal" to procure Customs Clearance,Transiting and Transport Services from a contractor/s with valid license. Hence, the UNECA hereby request qualified contractor/s to express their interest for the provision of Customs Clearance,Transiting and Transport Services to the UNECA. It is UNECA's intent to have Long Term Agreement (LTA) with a qualified contractor. Interested firms will be invited to the tender by “Request for Proposal” (RFP) at a later stage. This tender envisages selection of a single or more contractors to provide Customs Clearance,Transiting and Transport Services. Note: Detailed Terms of Reference for the entire contract period will be provided in the solicitation document. Please note that the UNECA is precluded from entering into contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNGM. Those interested in responding to this invitation but not currently fully registered as vendors with UNGM, are encouraged to register before submission of the bid. Some of the provision of Customs Clearance, Transiting and Transport Services include but are not limited to: -Customs Clearance. -Transportation Services, and -Delivery of official sea and air shipment as well as those belonging to international staff members.
