Background: 

COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale- is an independent non-governmental organization, founded in Italy, committed to fighting against social injustice and poverty in the global South and to building a future that guarantees everyone adequate living conditions, equal opportunities and respect of their rights. Since 1965 COOPI has carried out more than 700 development projects and emergency interventions in 50 countries in co-operation with more than 50,000 local workers, this ensuring direct benefit to more than 60 million people. In Africa, Latin America, Asia and in Eastern Europe COOPI promotes the access to water and the right to proper health and education services in poorer communities, and gives immediate and long-term aid to populations hit by war or natural disasters. 

COOPI Ethiopia country office has received grants from different donors for the implementation of various projects in Guji and Bale zone, and intends to apply a portion of the grant to purchase different construction materials. No party other than COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale shall derive any rights from the grant or have any claim to its proceeds. Under no circumstances or for no reason whatsoever will the donor entertain any request for indemnity or payment directly submitted by the humanitarian organization's contractors. 

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS 

COOPI Ethiopia country office, invites qualified suppliers of one or several of the following goods to respond to this advertisement. Suppliers who have responded to this advertisement and provides the required information may be invited to participate in the procurement procedure for the relevant lot(s).

Goods needed:

• Different types of construction materials
• HDPE pipes and fittings
• GI pipes, fittings and accessories

The interested supplier shall provide the following information to the contracting authority using the contact details below:
