INVITATION FOR VEHICLE SERVICE

Medecins Sans Frontieres- Holland, an international humanitarian organisation, invites potential vehicle rental companies to provide vehicle for our operations in Gambela region.

1. Terms and Conditions,

• Types of vehicles;      
  • • 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, Hard top LWB, 78 model, 13(11) seats. (ambulance)
    • 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, Hard top LWB, 75 model, 13(11) seats. (ambulance)
    • Toyota Hilux Double Cab, Pick-Up, 5 seats, recent models
    • Toyota Land Cruiser Single Cab, Pick-Up, 2(3) seats, recent models

1. All Vehicles to be in excellent condition, recently serviced and covered with comprehensive and 3^rd party insurance.
2. All vehicles to be equipped with necessary accessories: roof racks, tool kits, 2 quality spare tyres and fire extinguisher.
3. The company should have the capacity to replace vehicles in case of breakdown, or if more time efficient, reimburse MSF for associated repairs and maintenance on site.
4. Drivers that are assigned to vehicles should have valid licences, technical capacity for minor maintenance, a good work ethic and the lessor should have the capacity to change poor performing drivers on demand of the Lessee.

2. Bid Requirement:

1. 1. The company should guarantee their bid (+/-10%) via a service agreement, for the period of one year and be able to supply the requested vehicles within 48 hours of requests. Breakdown of service in any regard (including fluctuation of price as mentioned above) constitutes a termination of agreement and 2 year black listing.
   2. Bidders should have current car rental business registration and TIN/VAT.
   3. Bidders should present testimonies of previous experience, preferably with INGOs.
   4. Bidders should have a minimum of 5 cars registered in their company name.
   5. Bidders who meet the above criteria can submit their credentials along with their quotations per each requested vehicle type to the Logistic Coordinator, at the following address, until the closing date of August 25^th, 2014 at 09:00.
   6. All bids should be excluding VAT. MSF reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. A public opening of bids will be held on the 26^th of August at 09:00.
