Project description and sector

The Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute has asked GIZ and its donor BMEL to implement the construction of a cold room storage on its premises to extend the existing storage system of Ethiopian plant seeds.

Personnel: Specification of inputs and necessary qualifications

• Relevant experience in cold room construction 

• Legal registration documents according to Ethiopian law 

• Must submit a list of selected projects from the last 3 years, with at least three interior design (or broadly in building cold room) projects in Ethiopia (minimum area of 15 sq. m). Presented projects must be on a high level in the field of esthetics, functionality and flexibility. 

• Needs to demonstrate a high degree of technical expertise in the preparation of documents for the project by referring to previous similar projects completed during last 3 years. The company shall conform to existing laws, regulations and professional codes as established.
