DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced vendors to purchase speed display and speed gun with the following specification.

1. Speed display with the following specification:

2. Speed Gun with the following specification:

Should collects and stores a complete chain of evidence for indisputable speeding and  tailgating violations; Uses advanced video and imaging technology;Captures high-resolution images of license plates; Features tamper-proof data encryption onto an SD card; Stylus (3); 16 GB SD memory card; SD memory card to USB reader; Display screen sun shade; Premium hard carrying case; Shoulder stock; Battery charger 110/240-volt AC; Rechargeable battery Pack (2); Anti-jam option; Image/video viewer software CD; Certificate of calibration; Operation manual; 3 years’ warranty. Should include WIFI Printer and Bluetooth Printer and Paper

UNECA is precluded from entering into a contract with vendor that is not fully registered with United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM) and not obtained UN Global Market Place (UNGM) Vendor ID No. Thus, only those vendors who are registered or provisionally registered or have started their registration process in UNGM will be eligible to receive the solicitation document-ITB. (Use the following site to be registered at UNGM website : https://www.ungm.org).

Vendors who express their interest will be invited to participate in a tender through " Invitation to Bid " (ITB). Vendors interested in participating in the planned solicitation process should complete/submit the Vendor Response Form of this EOI either electronically through https://www.un.org/Depts/ ptd/node/add/interest-expressed?EOI=EOIUNECA14930 or send it via fax or e-mail to United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) on or before 19 April 2017.
