Location

Kele Golba Water Spreading Weirs project are geographically located between 617337 to 617517 Easting (longitude) and 714266 to 714805 Northing (Latitude) in UTM unit.

According to administration zone, the project Kele Golba Water spreading weirs are found in Oromia regional state, Bale zone, Delo Mena district in the peasant association called Kele Golba. Its distance from the district capital Delo Mena and Zonal town Robe is 33 and 158km respectively.

Water Spreading Weirs

There are four water spreading weirs supposed to be to be implemented at the valley in Kele Golba Kebele. It is planned to be implemented in cascade manner from the upstream to downstream along the valley called Yuko. The first water spreading weir which located at upstream named as Weir 70. The next is also named as Weir 50 and the rest two of them are Weir 40 and Weir 30 from up to downstream respectively. Its implementation should be followed sequentially from upstream weir 70 to downstream end weir 30.
