DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and expreineced vendors with valid license to supply flowers to United Nations staff, conference delegates, and other officials and visitors to the UNECA and other UN agencies and provision of flowers to specific events if and when required. The provider should be able to supply and assemble variation of flowers bouquets that would fit for various occasions, events and ceremonies like:Birthday; Graduation day;Wedding day; Anniversary; Memorial day; Independence day;   Father’s day; Mother’s day; Veterans’ day; Laborday; Christmas; Easter; New years; Valentine’s day; Thanks giving day ; Funerals; Inaugural ceremony;Decorating meeting halls;

The supply of the variety of flowers shall be but not limited to:Carnations;Roses; Alliums;Alstroemerias;Breath Gypsophila;High Pericup;Status;Soli Dago; Aster;Chrysanthemums;Daisies; Calla flowers;Lilies;Arrangements and variations of bouquets

Vendors who express their interest will be invited to participate in a tender through "Request for Proposal" (RFP). This tender will envisage the selection of individual/firm to undertake the above mentioned services within the described specifications that are detailed in the RFP.

UNECA is precluded from entering into a contract with vendor that is not fully registered with United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM) and not obtained UN Global Market Place (UNGM) Vendor ID Number. Thus, only those vendors who are registered or provisionally registered or have started their registration process in UNGM will be eligible to receive the solicitation document-RFP. Those interested vendors who fulfill the above requirements are required to submit the Completed Vendor Response Form using the above mentioned e-mail address on or before 21 Sep't 2017.
