DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified companies with the required expertise and experience, from all countries, to act as a main contractor for the Africa Hall renovation project.

The scope of the project includes but is not limited to modernizing the conference facility including establishing a visitor center/permanent exhibition whilst addressing the existing structural and health & safety aspects of the building and also addressing the universal/equitable access inadequacies in line with modern international best practice. The focus of the project is on conservation and modernization. All upgrades to the building have been carefully detailed in order to be sympathetic with the original design. It is a stated goal that, at the conclusion of the project, the building is safe and fully functionally.

This Request Expression of Interest (EOI) is intended to pre-qualify interested companies to receive a later Request for Proposal (RFP) document. Interested companies are therefore required to submit the documents as requested in this EoI.

The completed Vendor Response Forms plus all required supplemental documentation should be submitted to the above-mentioned email address or fax number on or before 01 March 2017.
