SALE FOR USED WOOD PALLETS

UNICEF Ethiopia has the different types of used wood pallets (in good condition and damaged) for sale: Euro, duff and thin pallets in good and damaged condition.

The whole bunch of pallets (in good condition and damaged) shall be sold as a set. It will be available for viewing at UNICEF ICC warehouse on Debrezeit Road turning left to Lanchia Co, 300mt. Viewing dates is from August 30 – September 2, 2016 during working hours (0830 am to 0500 pm from Monday to Thursday).  

Bidders are requested to give their lump sum offer in Ethiopian Birr for the whole quantity available.

Bidders should observe the following in their bidding process:

1. Bid documents will be available during viewing dates, from August 29- September 1, 2016 at the ICC warehouse – bidders can buy bid documents paying Birr 50.
2. Bidders shall only use UNICEF bid documents to submit their offers. Bid offers submitted in any other formats will be disqualified.
3. Bidders may check the physical condition of the items available for display during the viewing dates mentioned above. All items will be sold “as-is-where-is” basis (as specified in the bid document).
4. UNICEF reserves its right to proceed or cancel this bid in partial or in all.
5. Government taxes, dues and title transfer fees (if any), on items for sale will be covered by buyers, if any.
6. Bidders should write on the sealed offer envelope, their full address including their land and cell phone numbers.

Bid documents should be submitted to UNICEF ICC warehouse on Debrezeit Road during working hours from September 5 – 16, 2016. The due date for submission of the bid is Friday, 16^th September 2016, 1200 pm.

Bid winners will be notified when bid analysis and result are complete through their contact address. The successful bidder is expected to deposit the money in UNICEF account in advance and collect the pallets within 5 days of offer from UNICEF.

Bid offers will be placed with UNICEF ICC warehouse with sealed envelop marked “BID FOR USED PALLET”, from September 5 – 16, 2016, in person.
