Bid announcement: for supportive equipment for a person with disabilities.

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH would like to invite all interested and eligible local suppliers to submit technical specifications, financial offers, and warranty periods for the below items.

Any qualified local supplier who would want to accept the GIZ-Office proposal for supplying the products is invited to send an email to ET_Goods_Quotation@giz.de with the reference number 91180555 along with their financial offers and technical specifications separately in a Zipped folder (as attached below). The vendor's specifications, pricing sheet, general purchasing conditions, and self-declaration to determine origin are connected to the 2merkato's portal Webiste for interested suppliers.

Special conditions and instructions:

• Supplier must attach a valid TIN, VAT, and a current renewed business license.
• Suppliers must have a legal invoice.
• The supplier should present a document of certificate of origin for the items to be purchased. For those suppliers who can’t provide a certificate of origin, the attached self-declaration form must be filled out.
• Supplier must clearly indicate whether the price offer is before or after 15% VAT.
• Technical specifications should be detailed descriptions of the items. Legal Documents/ business licenses will not be considered as technical specifications.
• The offer might be rejected or disqualified:
  1. if technical specifications and financial offers are not submitted separately, 
  2. if the reference number is not indicated on the envelope and 
  3. if legal documents/licenses are submitted as technical specifications.
• The expected delivery time should be 10 working days after the official order is given. If the supplier fails to deliver within the specified days, GIZ-Office has the right to cancel/ terminate the order.
• The supplier should present a document of Certificate of Origin (If the items are imported from abroad) for the Items to be purchased, In the absence of such a document the supplier must fill out the attached checklist.
• Please consider the general purchase conditions attached for your offer preparation.
• The offer should be submitted in the language of the tender documents.
• For financial offers, use the provided price sheet form.
• Financial offer currency must be in ETB (Ethiopian Birr).
• The validity date of your offer should be 60 days.
• Payment will be settled after delivery and presentation of a valid invoice.
• The GIZ office has the right to cancel the tender fully or partially.
