Bid announcement: for IT Equipment’s

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH would like to invite all interested and eligible local suppliers to submit technical specification, financial offer, and warranty period for the below items.

Any qualified local supplier who would want to accept the GIZ-Office proposal for supplying the products is invited to send an email to ET_Goods_Quotation@giz.de with the reference number 91180386 along with their financial offers and technical specifications separately in a Zipped folder (as attached below). The vendors's specifications, pricing sheet, general purchasing conditions, and self-declaration to determine origin are connected to the 2mrkato portal website for interested suppliers.

Special conditions and instructions:

• Supplier must attach a valid TIN, VAT and a current renewed business license.
• Supplier must have a legal invoice.
• Supplier should present a document of certificate of origin for the items to be purchased. Those suppliers who can’t provide certificate of origin, the attached self- declaration form must be filled out.
• Supplier must clearly indicate whether the price offer is before or after 15% VAT.
• Technical specifications should be detailed descriptions of the items including the required color appearances. Legal Documents/ business licenses will not be considered as technical specifications.
• The offer might be rejected or disqualified: 
  1. if technical specifications and financial offers are not submitted separately, 
  2. if the reference number is not indicated on the envelope and 
  3. if legal documents/licenses are submitted as technical specifications.
• Expected delivery time should be 10 working days after official order is given. If the supplier fails to deliver within the specified days, GIZ-Office has the right to cancel/ terminate the order.
• Supplier should present a document of Certificate of Origin (If the items are imported from abroad) for the Items to be purchased, In the absence of such document the supplier must fill the attached checklist.
• Please consider general purchase conditions attached for your offer preparation.
• The offer should be submitted in the language of the tender documents.
• For financial offers, use the provided price sheet form.
• Financial offer currency must be in ETB (Ethiopian Birr).
• The validity date of your offer should be 60 days.
• Payment will be settled after delivery and presentation of valid invoice.
• GIZ office has the right to cancel the tender fully or partially.
