SOS Children’s Villages in Ethiopia Bahir Dar Program Location would like to invite interested bidders to submit bid proposals for the procurement of the following materials listed below in Lots.

This tender is open to eligible suppliers that are qualified and technically competent to provide the required and above-mentioned goods.
- A complete set of the bidding document (TOR) could be collected by eligible bidders from SOSCVE Bahir Dar, Gondar, and Debretabor project offices during working hours (2:30 a.m.–6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. local time) on working days from April 15, 2024, to April 24, 2024 and for lot numbers 1, 3, 6 and 7 the closing date of the bid will be 24 April 2024 at 7:30 and will be opened at 8:00 local time.
- And for lot numbers 2, 4, 5, and 8 the closing date will be 29 April 2024 at 3:00 A.M and opening will be on 29 April 2024 in Bahir Dar at 3:30 A.M local time.
The requirements and documents that need to be submitted with the proposals are:
Renewed business license for the year, copies of the tax identification certificate, and VAT registration certificate
- Bidders are required to deliver bid documents sealed in the bid box prepared for this purpose before or on April 24, 2024, in the Gondar and Debretabor project offices and on April 29, 2024, for lots in Bahir Dar as indicated in the lot table.
- Bidders need to pay 100.00 Birr in Commercial Bank of Ethiopia KDI Account 1000000971417 to access the bid documents
- Bidders shall submit a bid guarantee of 1% of the total quoted price of the bid in CPO.
- Winners will be selected based on the lowest price of each lot or material.
1. The bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
2. Suppliers should comply with SOSCVE child and youth safeguarding policy and other binding policies and regulations.
3. Winners will be notified within ten days since the opening of the open tender and are required to provide prices based on this consideration
4. The bidders shall do the loading and unloading activities with their own expenses (do delivery duty unpaid) in Gondar , Debretabor and Bahir Dar in the SOS children’s villages project offices as indicated in the lots.
5. Bidders shall cover insurance issues in inconveniences during do delivery duty unpaid
6. The bid will be opened in front of available bidders and the winners will be notified through the firm address.
