GIZ would like to invite all interested and eligible Insurance Companies in Ethiopia, to participate and submit bids in this open tender for the provision of insurance to: GIZ Vehicles and Motorcycles Third party and Comprehensive Insurance Coverages including, Own damage, PVT (Political Violence and Terrorism), and BSG (Bandits, Shiftas and Guerillas).

Any question in connection with this tender shall be communicated through email ET_Contract_Quotation@giz.de not later than April 24, 2024.

Reference number shall be mentioned on subject line of the email.

How to Apply:

• All bids must be delivered/submitted physically to the address below at or before 2:00 PM on April 30, 2024.
• Bidders should submit their technical and financial proposals as per the issued tender document.
• The financial offer must be prepared and submitted as per the price sheet template in the tender document.
• This tender is aimed to have 2 years insurance contract with a possibility of extension for 1 more year. As a result, bidders must submit 2 separate price offers:
  1. the price offer for the first 2 years and
  2. the price offer for 1 year – as an option of extension for the 3 rd year contract term.
• Bidders should fill in the self-declaration of eligibility, as provided in the tender document.
• GIZ reserves the right to cancel the bid fully or partially.
