REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

1. Topic: To provide motor vehicles insurance for all UNICEF Vehicles comprehensively in a competitive basis -RFP-ETH-2013-9108931.

2. Background.

UNICEF Ethiopia is seeking the services of Qualified COMPANY THAT COULD provide service for Motor vehicles Insurance The terms of reference describes the duties and responsibilities of “the contractor” as well as a brief description of the required services to be provided by the company.
The insurance company should at least have branch offices in: Hawassa, Jijiga, Afar, Mekele, Bahrdar, Assosa, Gambella, Negele Borena.

3. Objective:

The objective of this contract is to have a long term agreement with the service provider for a continued and need based services from the private contracted company. Scope of the work: The Insurance Company is expected to insure all UNICEF vehicles within Ethiopia comprehensively and cover all vehicles involved in any kind of accident anywhere in the country.

4. Desired background and Experience Required:
a) The Contractor should be licensed for such works and registered with concerned authorities.
b) The insurer should have at least five years of experience in the provision of the motor insurance detailed above and should provide accreditation from its current and / or past clients.
c) The insurer should assign an appropriate and regular contact person to deal with UNICEF businesses.

Formal offers are to be submitted to UNICEF on or before 10.00 hrs. Monday, 04 November-2013. Due to the nature of the bid, there will be no bid public opening for this offer.
