Ethiopia Earned US$2.8 Billion from Export

Ethiopia has earned US$2.8 billion from export of various commodities during the past 11 months, according to the Ministry of Trade (MoT).

Ministry Corporate Communication Directorate Directore, Amakele Yimam, told Walta Information Center that the country has exported 37, 358 tonnes of agricultural produces, manufacturing, minerals and other products during the stated period.

Gold and other minerals generated over US$1.55 billion, coffee generated over US$653.8 million and oilseeds over US$404.1 million. Pulses, flowers, vegetables and fruits and other products take the remaining share of the export earning.
