Nib Bank Introduces New Logo

Nib International Bank, Ethiopia officially introduced a new logo last week. The new logo is in line with the banks desire to re-brand to meet customer expectations and to better reflect the banks mission, vision and core values.

The Board of Directors and the management team exerted effort to create a new brand that is consistent with the services that the bank offers and the new developments that are taking place at the bank said Tafesse Bogale, Chairman of the NIB board.

The new brand and logo were created in a manner that will allow domestic and international customers to quickly recognize the bank without necessitating a name to be attached.

Modern and successful companies will pay attention to branding and handle them strategically said Amerga Kassa, President of Nib.

The new brand is thus reflective of the elements that make up the bank and because of its clarity, modernity and ease of identification he said.

The yellow color of the new brand symbolizes intellect, loyalty and joy and the honey produced from bees while the brown signifies soil, abundance and network according to Yahyerad Tadesse, Owner and General Manager of Studio net, which designed the logo.  

The studio was paid an estimated 250,000 birr for the design project that took over a year to execute. Nib International Bank has more than 55 branches with more than 3837 shareholders and 2063 employees.
