The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Ethiopia-United Kingdom business forum was held in London this week with a view to promoting investment.

Arkebe Oqubay (PhD), who is a special advisor to the Prime Minister, briefed the participants of the forum about the investment opportunities and incentives in Ethiopia.

Arkebe said the recent changes which are being undertaken by the Ethiopian government would create a favorable environment for investors. He urged UK business communities to engage in textile, leather products, agro-processing, mines and energy, and other manufacturing sectors.
