Ethiopian Toll Road Enterprise said it had collected more than ETB 225 million revenue from Addis-Adama expressway, an expressway which was constructed with ETB 11 billion.

Zahra Mohammed, Communication and Marketing Team Leader at the enterprise, said crane service and advertising space rent also helped in generating the revenue. Zahara also pointed that the enterprise had been discharging its responsibilities in order to create sense of belongingness among the nearby community. According to her, it offered employment opportunities to 229 citizens who organized themselves in 21 associations while building public latrine in some places.
