Djibouti’s Government disclosed it has made a 45 percent price reduction on all port service fees for customers using the newly constructed Doraleh Multipurpose Port.

The priced adjustment is going to be applied on all cargo, dry bulk as well as vehicles. The move was made following the decision made by the Government of Djibouti.

According to the Ethiopian News Agency, the systems of operations and services that Djibouti has introduced at the Doraleh Multipurpose Port have transformed the industry.

It is to be recalled that Djibouti has been giving services at its 5 specialized ports. This includes the Port of Djibouti and DMP. The country aims to become a regional logistics hub.
