Ethiopia’s flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has concluded an agreement with Paysafe, an international payment provider, to launch a global payment service. The service is said to be applicable in Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The service will allow Ethiopian’s customers to use their digital wallets, electronic devices that allow electronic transactions through the payment provider’s own Skrill and NETELLER.

It was only recently that the airlines was merged with another state enterprise, Ethiopian Airports Enterprise, and got restructured. It has also announced for the construction of a new 5 star hotel.

The international payment service provider’s, Paysafe, is based in the Isle of Man, a self-governing Crown dependency in the Irish Sea between the islands of Great Britain and Ireland. It is operational in 200 countries and performs transactions in 40 currencies.
