Ethiopia: Addis Inaugurated 850 Transport Buses

Ethiopia’s capital administration, Addis Ababa City Administration, inaugurated 850 buses it has bought at an expense of 3.4 billion Birr.

Out of these vehicles purchased, 100 of them are going to be used for transporting students. Around 770, on the other hand are expected to be assembled and ready for services till the end of the current fiscal year.

Speaking at the inauguration, Diriba Kuma, Mayor of Addis Ababa, said the city had been undertaking unreserved efforts to fill the transport service gap in the city.

The student buses are subsidized and will give the service with an affordable and low cost.
