Ethiopia’s Head of State, President Mulatu Teshome (PhD), awarded 10 exporters that brought more than 150 million USD from the export of pulses, oil seeds and spices.

The capital city, Addis Ababa, is hosting the seventh International Conference on Pulses, Oil Seeds and Spices. Speaking at the event Mulatu disclosed the export of these agricultural products showed 20 percent increase during the last decade.

The President also explained that the Ethiopian government would provide the necessary support for the growth of the sector.

The two-day event is being attended by 100 participants from 20 countries.
