Ethiopia’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) disclosed in 1 month time 350 travelers used the newly started Addis – Khartoum road transport.
Speaking on the matter Yigzaw Dagnew, MTC Communications Director, said the service first suffered from redundancy of checkpoints which later caused delay in the service.
During the 1 month period, 350 passengers used the Addis Ababa-Khartoum road transport route, the director added.
Travelers called for the extension of the service, which currently is only twice a week, to be full-fledged regular service, Yigzaw noted. After another month of trial service, full-fledged service would commence, he added.
