Ethiopia: Ethiopian to Resume Flights to Conakry

Ethiopian AirlinesEthiopia’s flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines Group, disclosed it finalized arrangements to resume flights to the Capital of Republic of Guinea, Conakry, starting from February 1, 2017. This is expected to give the airline’s clients to be able to connect Conakry with major cities in Asia, Middle East as well as East and Southern Africa via Addis Ababa.

Commenting on the development the Group’s CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam, said "We are proud to add Conakry among our West African destinations and further deepen our African route network. Conakry will be our 54th African and 96th international destination.”

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to provide our customers a new choice of fast and efficient connectivity via our Addis Ababa gateway to and from our global network together with a multiple award winning customer service and care," he added.

Travelers using Ethiopian Airlines or ASKY Airlines are given free trips after accumulating miles on Ethiopian’s frequent flyer program, Sheba Miles.
