The Korean government said South Korean economic delegation team will come to Ethiopia and Ivory Coast to facilitate more trade and industrial cooperation.

According to Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the 37-person delegation team, comprised of government officials and businessmen, will be in Ivory Coast and Ethiopia from Sunday to Saturday.

Lee Sang-jin, Director General in charge of the Ministry Trade Cooperation Office, and Head of the delegation, said during the Ethiopian leg of the trip, leaders from the Korea Federation of Textile Industries will hold a meeting with Ethiopian President to discuss future investment plans.

The official also said he plans to ask Ethiopian counterparts to allow South Korean companies to invest in the Bole Lemi 2 industrial project.
