Ethiopia’s Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Construction (MoUDHC) sets to review the registration held for different housing schemes two years back, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporate.

Mekuria Haile, UDHC Minister, said the revision was necessitated because the former registration did not suppose the demand and financial capacity of the people to buy houses.

Last year’s condominium winners filed a complaint concerning the housing price, he noted.

The new system will give a chance for residents to transfer form one housing scheme to another based on their financial capacity.

The re-registration is scheduled for the coming Ethiopian fiscal year.
