Ethiopia looks for foreign companies to take part in the housing development program, Ethiopian News Agency reported (ENA).

Tender has already been issued for the construction of the housing project, specifically the 40/60 housing program, Mekuria Haile, Minister of Urban Development and Housing Construction told ENA.

“The selection of the companies base technical proposal, financial capacity, logistics capacity and implementation capacity” he said.

Foreign companies are invited as a result of delay in local companies to complete construction timely, the Minister said.

Foreign companies, if they win the bid, will be awarded with the contract to take part in the housing development projects to be commenced the coming Ethiopian year.
