Diplomatic Spouses Group of Ethiopia (DSGE), which is an annual event, is going to be held for one day on Saturday, November 22, 2014 here in Addis Ababa’s Millennium Hall.

The purpose of the bazaar is fundraising for charitable causes and help what are referred as “the most vulnerable groups” of Ethiopia.

In addition to this the event is said to serve as a venue to promote friendly relations between spouses of diplomats sited here in Ethiopia’s capital and also an opportunity for them to learn about Ethiopia.

According to Fortune, over 60 embassies and international organizations are expected to take part in the event. in addition to this, there are going to be 20 local community organizations participating in the bazaar.

Items that will be sold on the bazaar include jewellery, meals, beverages and other products reflecting cultures of participating countries.

A year ago the event attracted more than 10,000 participants. Tickets for this year’s event are being sold at Hilton Hotel for 30 Birr for adults and 20 Birr for children.
