Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA) concluded three contracts with local contractors for the execution of road projects that will cost 139 Million Birr.

The contracts were signed by General Manager of AACRA, Eng. Fekade Haile, on behalf of AACRA and representatives of the three companies.

The local companies are Macro General Contractor and Trading Plc, United Consulting Engineers (UNICON) and Ethio-Infra Engineering Plc.

Macro agreed to build two overpass bridges that will link CMC area with Michael area. This particular contract is worth 138.8 Million Birr.

The agreement Macro is a party to dictates, the two overpass bridges are scheduled to be completed in 240 days and have a 21 Meter length and 9.6 Meter width.

On the other hand, UNICON and Ethio-Infra Engineering are going to supervise roads that are going to be built, Koye Feche II and Bole Arabessa III condominiums house sites. The road projects are going to be carried out at a cost over 3.2 Million Birr and 1.2 Million Birr respectively.
