Pathfinder International/Ethiopia (PI/E) isa non-fur-profit organization dedicated to provide high quality reproductive health and family planning services that improve the lives of women and their families in Ethiopia.
It also employs a program on Community Prevention of Mother- To-Child Transmission (CPMTCT) where it serves as a technical subcontractor to IntraHealth to increase the use of prevention of mother-to-child transmission services through the creation of demand fur service & community mobilization that is tailored to the Ethiopian context
Community PMTCT is a five year project funded by USAID that aims to improve uptake of MNCH/PMTCT services and case follow up at the community and primary health care levels of the health system in Ethiopia. To achieve this aim the project team will assist the GOE and its counterparts to develop, test and roll out a sustainable integrated community MNCH/PMTCT model. IntraHealth Intemational is a prime partner for this project and Pathfinder International, Program fur Appropriate Technology in Health (PATII) and the International Orthodox Christian Charities (lOCC) are sub-partners in implementing the project Accordingly Pathfinder International is the lead in the design and Implementarion of interventions leading to the attainment of objective 3 - Increase demand fur MNCH/ PMTCT services.
As one of its strategies to increase demand for MNCH/PMTCT service, Pathfinder International Ethiopia (PIE) will use Information, Education and Communication (lEC/ BCC) materials to increase knowledge and awareness and thereby ensure positive behavior change towards the utilization of MNCH/PMTCT services. In order to do this, pathfinder
will be producing IEC materials to be used at community level. To this effect pathfinder invites potential applicants or bidders from highly qualified firms or printing press to print and reproduce posters, flip charts, leaflets and stickers on identified key MNCH/PMTCT messages and Interpersonal Communication tools.
Pathfinder has prepared a TOR for detail information. Potential bidders can collect the TOR from Pathfinder/IFHP offices located around Bisrate Gebriel church in front of Dashen Bank; or IntraHealth/CPMTCT office around Bole Medihanialem church, adjacent to Swiss Cafe.
