GEDEB ENGINEERING PLC (GEP) is a main distributor of John Deere agricultural machinery, TATU implements of Brazil and provides after sales services for John Deere agricultural machinery

GEP is registered in Ethiopia in October 2005 at the Ministry of Trade and Industry with License No 5229/98 arid with a registered capital of one million/Birr.

GEP is owned entirely by Engineer Chombe Seyoum and his wife Sirgut Engidawork.The company is Headed by the Managing Director with a wide-ranging knowledge and experience in the field of Agriculture. The sales department is staffed with three highly qualified and professional engineers.

GEP also imports and distributes TATU implements of Brazil origin which include:

After- Sales Facility:- Owned by GEP abd located in Gofa main road in front of EEPCO's warehouse. It comprises of a fully equipped work shop with 7 days, spare parts store of 700 cubic meters holding capacity with thousands of line Items, a training class room and offices. The company is well organized with man power and workshop facility to meet the demand of all types of services required. The workshop is currently equipped with all modern diagnostic instruments to carry out maintenance works on site with its well trained and technical performance.

Training: Gedeb Engineering provides full training to customers' operators and mechanics both at the customers sites and at our Addis Ababa Central workshop. In 2006 and 2007, we gave training to over 300 mechanics and operators in Addis, bale Zone and Fincha Sugar factory.

Spare Parts Supply: Gedeb has setup one of the biggest spare parts stocks store in the country for fast and medium moving spares to satisfy the requirements of its customers. In its central store at Gofa and parts depot in Bale Zone, we have been supplying to all our customers adequate and timely parts. Gedeb can arrange an emergency import by air from the John Deere parts depot in German with in 72 hours.
